On February 14th, at the Vineyard Jungić, Čelinac the story oby Milica Simić “The Saga of the destruction of a family” was awarded in the competition of 25 literary works from the region.
The jury, made by the professors of Serbian language and literature Zagorka Trivić, Jelena Ivanković and Momčilo Spasojević, suggested to award also other stories “Behind the whiteness” of Srbijanka Stanković from Prokuplje / Serbia and “Sound of the Polar Light” Dragana Ostić from Čelinac, as well as set of poems by Ljubica Drača from Doboj.
In competition part with poems about wine and viticulture, in which age of the candidates was not limited, 12 works have been received and the best rated songs are by Sreten Vujić from Čelinac and Mihajlo Orlović, Gojka Mandić and Miladin Berić from Banjaluka.
The awards were presented on February 14th at the literary evening held at the Tavern “Jungić” in Markovac, near Čelinac.
The association “Prosvjeta”, Čelinac and Vinarija “Jungić” founded this literary prize in 2012 with the intent to keep a memory of the work of the Čelinac poet, professor and bohemian Slavko Jungić Jesej, and affirm the young literary creators. Stay tuned for future calls for application!!!
This year, the 6th competition attracted more participants and hopefully, it will continue to grow each year. The participants received cash prizes and diplomas and enjoyed reading poetry, music, and wine in the marvelous surroundings of the Jungić Vineyard.

Students with all kinds of backgrounds from four different universities will join forces for this two and a half days long creation marathon at MOME Universtity from February 22-24. You are curious about the developed projects? Join the Projects Presentations on February 24 – everybody is welcome!
The EYA Social Hackathon will focus on the topic:
How mobile technology and digital tools might help the craftsman’s work and promote skilled craftsmanship in a time of shortage nowadays?
The tech focus will be on Virtual Reality (VR) and 360°.
